WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

3-D Vessels with a Resist, June 6, Saturday, 10-4 pm. Mill River Folk School, Mill River (near Great Barrington), MA. Class size is limited to 8 people. SOLD OUT Please visit the MRFS site to be put on a waitlist. If enough people are on the waitlist another session may be scheduled.

Nuno Scarf Felting Class, Saturday, August 22, 10-4 pm. In the new studio at 49 Conway St, Shelburne Falls MA. Nuno is a textile that uses the felting properties of wool fibers to attach to an open weave fabric. This class will use fine merino wool and silk chiffon as the base for students to create a unique textile to wear. Suitable for motivated beginners. Adult class (ages 15+) Class size is limited to 4 people per session. Cost is $90 plus materials.  Materials fee varies depending on the amount of wool used (average $6-$9) and if a silk scarf is purchased through studio ($15-$25).
